Heather Moon, LSW
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work from Bloomsburg University and a Master of Social Work from Marywood University, and I've had the privilege of working in a variety of mental health settings, including child welfare and school-based services. Over the years, I've had the honor of supporting individuals and families through many different stages of life.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My approach to counseling is rooted in understanding and collaboration. I believe in meeting you where you are, using your strengths to guide the process of change. I use evidence-based methods such as EMDR, DBT, and somatic therapy, all of which allow us to work together in a way that feels authentic and supportive to you.
Currently, I am working toward my LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) certification, continuing to grow in my practice so that I can offer you the best support possible.
Above all, I believe that building a trusting, compassionate relationship is key to effective therapy. I am here to listen, support, and work with you in a safe and comfortable environment as you take steps toward healing and positive change.
