Tess Heller, LPC, ICAADC, MT-BC
Sometimes life can be overwhelming and the past can impede on the present. Clients can feel stuck and unsure of how to move forward with living the life they most desire to live.
I believe each of us is our own expert, and that my job as a therapist is simply to walk beside you on your journey of self-discovery and healing.
I aim to provide a space of safety, warmth, and compassion where you can explore your inner world and begin healing the wounds that are impacting your daily life.
I received my Master’s Degree in music therapy/mental health counseling from Immaculata University in 2018, and have been a board-certified music therapist since that time. I received my Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification in 2020, and my license in 2022 as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have a variety of experience in the therapy field, including trauma work in an outpatient setting, SAP assessments with middle and high school students, and inpatient substance abuse treatment.
My technique includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), music therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I work with individual clients ages 12 and up.
