Adult (Ages 21+) ADHD & Autism Diagnostic Assessment
Many adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) spend years feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or unsure why certain areas of life feel harder than they should. ADHD and Autism are two conditions that can have a significant impact on an individual’s daily life. Both conditions can make it difficult for individuals to focus, communicate effectively, and interact with others, which can lead to feelings of frustration and isolation. With proper assessment and treatment, Autistic and/or ADHD adults can learn to manage their symptoms and lead fulfilling lives.
A comprehensive assessment can provide clarity, self-understanding, and direction. With the right support, Autistic and/or ADHD adults can learn effective strategies, build confidence, and improve daily functioning and well-being. A proper assessment can help individuals better understand their condition and how it affects their daily lives. An assessment can also lead to effective treatment options, such as medication, therapy, or lifestyle changes, that can help to manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
Why Seek An Assessment?
Adults pursue evaluation for many reasons, including:
Recognizing traits in yourself after learning more about ADHD or Autism
Family member or friend suggested you might be neurodivergent
Experiencing lifelong challenges that traditional advice hasn’t helped
Difficulty with executive functioning, social situations, relationships, or sensory issues
Seeking understanding and validation for long-standing patterns and experiences
Needing documentation for workplace, school, or disability support
No matter the reason, seeking answers is often the first step toward relief and self-acceptance.

FAQ
Can anyone get an assessment?
To be considered for this assessment you must be 21+. If the individual has never lived on their own, this specific assessment can be challenging because much of the criteria for adults is related to independent living. Outside of that, this assessment is useful for adults regardless of gender, cultural background, ethnicity, or socioeconomic standing.
Do I need to stop seeing my current therapist?
Not at all. We’ll coordinate with your primary therapist to let them know our findings if that is something you would like.
Does insurance cover this assessment?
This assessment unfortunately is not covered by insurance nor is it reimbursable in most cases. The deposit of $200 is due at the time you schedule the appointment and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due at the start of the assessment. We do have a 2-month payment plan available, or a pay-in-full discount. Please reach out to us for more information.

The diagnostic report may support:
Medication management

If you do not cancel or reschedule the appointment and do not show up, you forfeit the deposit unless it is a medical emergency.
